SME in Finance and Risk Transformation Project for regional standardization of finance processes, statutory and regulatory reporting

o Specialized accounting entries for investments, reserves and expenses postings for insurance and investment-specific transactions under RAS and IFRS in local and group ledgers; o Review investment transactions on a daily basis to ensure conformity of established policies and procedures, monitor cash and investments holdings variances between the investment system and general ledger o Key role in month-end closing process, prepare monthly and annual accounts; o Assist chief accountant

Responsibility for the month-end closing process, preparing monthly corporate reporting package including calculation of prepayments and accruals, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis; Maintain Fixed Assets Register, calculate and book the monthly fixed assets depreciation charges under local and group rules; Reconcile inter-company accounts; Work with tax advisors to prepare and submit monthly VAT & Instrastat and corporation tax returns

Process purchase and sales invoices, review employee expense reports, audit employee expenses to ensure compliance with company's financial policies and procedures before paying; Recording petty cash and bank statements in General ledger ; Accounts reconciliation

Payroll: payroll computation and payroll tax reporting, set-up payment file for the bank, perform all accounting transactions related to payroll, accounts reconciliation in this area; Perform HR processes being responsible for a variety of administrative, clerical and record keeping duties relating to the payroll activities including employee communication, leavers, joiners, in-employment changes
