To lead and direct all activities required to achieve all store goals, including sales objectives, client service, human resources management, payroll and operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation while driving both associate and client engagement

Set and prioritize daily store business goals with the store manager and lead team to achieve them. Ensure all store standards and processes are consistently maintained. Model and teach associates to create a delightful customer experience. Consistently adjust sales forecast to ensure labor is utilized to optimized sales generation. Supervise, train and coach sales floor team members on service and presentation skills. Create and execute remerchandising plans. Manage schedule to meet guest traffic. Partner with the sales floor to communicate when the product is staged. Evaluate specialist and team members’ performance and give them feedback. Coach logistics and sales floor team to accomplish core roles. Help to select, hire, retain and develop high caliber team members. Drive safety culture, leading by example.

As General Manager, I had the highest level of authority within the store. I was responsible for the overall management of the day to day store functions, i.e., the training, supervising, local marketing, and leading of my staff. I was the foremost decision-maker in regards to every aspect of the store's operation, i.e., personnel, product procurement, merchandising, increasing of revenue and sales, customer service, collections, inventory control, delivery/transportation management, staffing and scheduling
