Leading research and project management role in two international environmental reporting projects with the United Nations Environment Programme. Close collaboration with many international government authorities for review of environmental law regarding industrial chemicals. Manage international stakeholder outreach across both the private and public sectors, present project updates, and lead a team involved in daily project work.

Investigated and modeled the global production and environmental fate of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Collaborated with GDF SUEZ to create a global model estimating thermal impacts caused by power generation cooling systems on rivers. Developed an energy model to estimate the potential savings of renovating Europe’s residential buildings country by country.

Supported EHS operations at Alstom (now General Electric) on a sector level. Coordinated sector-wide safety audit campaign for manufacturing sites across >30 countries; programmed analytics tool to track and communicate safety and environmental reporting across departments and improve performance. Reviewed and followed-up on regulatory compliance and training initiatives as well as collected and reported monthly environmental metrics to senior management across business units.

Supported both lab and field research of a project investigating the stability of diverse trophic levels and role of spatial separation in fresh water ecosystems. Assisted with in situ measurements on lakes throughout Switzerland, and designed and managed data collection and analysis for outdoor mesocosm tank experiments.
