    During my 10 years freelancing I’ve had the opportunity to work for some amazing projects and clients across the globe. I’ve mainly worked on process-driven solutions such as configurators, account, purchasing and booking processes ranging across all platforms such as desktop OS and apps, through web, to mobile, voice, wearables and products but have more recently also increasingly worked on voice-activated and experiential projects.

    "Discover Your Perfect Pair" was a voice-controlled styling experience with Alexa as its backbone. The user described their style preferences in a futuristic dressing room and was given information on the perfect pair of jeans. Other highlights amongst many, were the digital catwalk where the models mimicked the movements of the visitor and augmented reality competition.

    I spent a significant time as a consultant with A.T.U, a major garage and auto part retailer in Europe. A.T.U. was looking for a new strategy, design and a more user-centred approach and general automation of processes on their website and garages. The entire site and processes were reworked and designed over several months. Including configuration and appointment scheduling processes. We also developed a design system to make future updates across all digital channels easier.

    I spent two years working with Conrad on developing their mobile landscape. We launched iOS and Android apps as well as a separate mobile shop. All with reworked user-centred processes in order to allow for a flawless mobile experience which still seamlessly ties in with their webshop.

    UX Lead


    FinTech: joint effort with a major hardware producer, a telecommunications supplier and a credit card provider. The app, on Android, allows the user to pay via NFC, manage transactions and transfer money to other users. The aim was to build an app that slots into a modern lifestyle, an app that is easy to use but still provides all the necessary security and safety requirements. I also assisted in developing the concepts for a better overall banking experience.

    I worked on quite a few launch campaigns for Audi, with a lot of boundary-pushing technology at the time, such as motion tracking technology. Another project for Razorfish. The relaunch of the Audi Used Car portal with reimagined and redesigned processes for the end-user as well as used car dealerships.

    Smart global relaunch. Smart: A smart car, a smart website. Obviously it's always fun to work on a brand that stands for 'different' and 'innovation'. Two qualities their current site was unfortunately not reflecting. Re-launching the site and their digital brand included all the vital processes, such as booking a test-drive, and configuring your perfect smart.

    I was contracted by Nokia for a period of 6 months to work on their Ovi Maps product. I was responsible for the overall OVI maps framework, directions as well as managing a team and sprint planning.

    When websites were still realised in Flash and UX was still IA. I was very fortunate to be working on this project. The UK relaunch not only set a new standard for automotive websites around this time, but also for UI and UX patterns in general. You can still find examples of the site in industry books today. The Design and UX of the site stood up to the test of time, although flash didn’t and I went on to join AKQA in their relaunch of the global website a couple of years later.
