We (Group of 4) faced the challenge of programming a watercraft to recognize objects in the water using AI by training a neural network for Object Detection Algorithm. A closed-loop PID controller was also designed to keep the watercraft in the straight line in the swimming pool. This work demanded a balance of technical knowledge, creativity, and collaboration, all under strict time constraints and competition rules. The teamwork was exceptional and we emerged as the winners of this competitive hackathon!
