HR Manager of the E&V Technology division, servicing 40+ employees based in Hamburg and remotely around Europe, responsible for all aspects of HR.

• Management and development of Global Mobility Policies and Processes for the UK/Europe/Middle East region. • Responsible for all HR and Administration matters (Payroll, Assignment Contracts, Company Provided Accommodation) for UAE and KSA, reporting to UK HR Director. • Responsible for People related Contract KPI’s (Knowledge Transfer) and project resource planning. • Responsible for contract extension resource planning. • Developed and rolled out an Employee Handbook for the region.

• Temporary role whilst ERS was sold by Freightliner during 2018. • Responsible for Payroll, Recruitment, Data Sharing with Purchaser and day-to-day HR matters. • Working knowledge of German payroll, taxation and employment legislation.

• Worked on several large RPO projects and the set-up of a new online Estate Agency, providing Employment Legislation advice, implementing processes and creating templates.

• Managed HR team across two sites, one a remote depot, the other the HQ in the city. • Reviewed and suggested improvements to HR policies and processes. • Developed relationship with DB Germany and UK HR.

• Developed and delivered a new employee induction event, designed to help new employees orientate themselves with Atkins and Qatar. • Mobilised Contract 2, the largest contract in Atkins worldwide, the mobilisation and on-boarding of over 500 new staff, both from within the Atkins group globally and external hires.

• Reviewed current HR policies and processes and transformed them to improve efficiency, and meet local regulation and international best practice. • Provided flow diagrams, work instructions, templates and training to the client's HR employees.

• Assisted with a number of Recruitment Outsource bids.

• HR Manager for the Abu Dhabi Government's HR Department, supporting over 140 HR professionals • Participated in the review and update of Abu Dhabi's Labour Laws and HR processes.

• Provided HR consultancy to NCR on their planned set up of a company in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

• Set up of a new company, a joint venture between Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and Mubadala, joint role as an Executive Board Member. • Developed and implemented all HR policies and processes. • Took the company from 4 to over 500 employees by transferring staff from both parent companies, transitioning in staff from outsourced customers and external hiring.

Dublin (Ireland) • COBOL programmer and then Project Manager supporting General Motors Europe's forecasting, procurement and pricing systems for aftersales in the UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Scandinavia.
