In my role as a M&A Associate at EuroDev M&A, I am involved in the buy-side advisory activties including defining the acquisition criteria, research, developing a list of potential targets, and approaching the companies. Primarily, I am looking for add-on acquisitions for U.S. based private equity groups and their portfolio companies.

In my role as a market researcher, I conducted a market research for EuroDev in order to become aware of EuroDev`s current approach and its environment with the goal to provide input on how to manage future strategy and growth. Thereby, an internal and external analysis of EuroDev was conducted and the firm`s strengths and weaknesses as well as the opportunities and threats were derived.

Preparation of data for macroeconomic surveys; Preparation of material for the lecture in macroeconomics (creating graphs, updating Power Point slides, searching for new information concerning macroeconomic data); Data analysis; Literature research; Proofreading of scientific papers

Development and implementation of the re-structuring of the website in order to improve the usability; Analyzing competitors concerning the use of social media to develop recommendations for setting up a social media strategy and concept; Assistance in development and implementation of on-/offline communication material in cooperation with agencies, suppliers, and the headquarter in Japan; Project coordination to develop an e-training tool for the European sales network; Competitor pricing analysis

The Center for Corporate Governance was established in April 2010 and is one of HHL’s established focal points in research and education with explicit practical relevance in its work.The Center’s research deals with the relevance of good governance, corporate diversity and corporate governance in emerging countries. As a research assistant at the Center for Corporate Governance, I was responsible for data capture in the context of the German Corporate Governance Code and analysis of company reports.

As a research assistant in the Department of Economics, I had the following tasks: Assistance in the organization of the event “Long Night of Science”, summarizing of scientific studies, evaluation of the project “Action Plan Climate Protection” by the Hessian government, writing of articles, and literature research for the international project “TEEB” (“The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity”) as well as for the current energy policy by the German government.
