    Mars Sample Return Project (MSR-ERO) (Joint venture between NASA and ESA). Project for AIRBUS. Development of a model and a method for the evaluation of nonlinear shock excitations on a rotating reaction wheel. Impact simulations of representative shock and vibration events to define rotation speed, shock amplitude and duration limits. Theme: Dynamics, Shock Vibration Analysis and FEM.

    Optimization & Validation of crack propagation simulation with FEM to predict fracture mechanics in fiber composite cohesive bonds of aircraft fuselage. Familiarization with fatigue crack growth phenomena. Python scripts for simulation are evaluated with Abaqus. Theme: Lightweight Construction, Fracture Mechanics.

    CleanSky2 Project (field - Aeronautics) (SHERLOC). Development of a High Performance Computing framework for virtual testing of a real scale fuselage using Finite Element code ‘ALYA’. Investigation of dissipative strategies used in numerical time integration schemes in order to solve impact simulations. The numerical tools applied were validated in real structures. Theme: Numerical impact simulations and FEM implementation.
