My main responsibilities were supporting the sales department by ensuring availability and consistency of relevant data in the Salesforce records and reviewing and utilising daily reports of the Salesforce platform. As a result, I got familiar with this platform. Besides that, I had also other duties assigned on a regular basis. Because I was often under own supervision, I not only achieved full control of my work pace but by doing so had one of the highest data input ratios in my department.

In addition to the usual responsibilities this work contains, I had second-hand experience with running a small business thanks to the possibility of working closely with the owner of the café. She gave me a good insight in what it means to own and successfully run a business, which is a knowledge I value a lot, since it is not something you get at any workplace.

Thanks to this internship I got to acquire the theoretical foundations on the functioning of banking, banking products and processes of one of the biggest banks on Slovak banking market. I am convinced that this knowledge will be useful also on a personal, non-professional level, since I got to understand products – and their benefits – that might come in handy such as credit cards or loans. Besides that, by shadowing all job positions at the bank's retail branch, I improved my customer service skills.

My main responsibilities as a check-in officer and as a stewardess were to inspect and sell tickets as well as oversee passengers' safety by following the company's transport rules. Besides that, as expected from such a hectic work environment a lot of ad hoc tasks arose, such as handling customer inquiries e. g. in case of delays which I managed to complete while staying calm and fully focused. Thanks to these unexpected and sudden issues I improved my foreign language and communication skills.

This work experience was the first one where I got to train my capabilities in customer service, since the main tasks were to sell domestic and international train and coach tickets and to deal with and solve customer complaints. At the end of the day my duty was to record the daily turnover in the Helios accounting system.
