Professional experience for Kristin Enseling
As a UX/UI designer, I supported various teams at the SIGNAL IDUNA Group in digital product development. One of my main projects was developing a design for an internal web application that always gives all agencies and intermediaries an overview, analysis, and forecast of their numbers. In another project, I supervised and promoted the development and transfer of designs to other technical tools so that CI-friendly communication tools could also be created outside of the design system.

Freelance
As a Freelancer I deliver designs for digital products. I work as a product designer, sometimes as part of a team, sometimes working individual - responsible for euch part in the design process. Around product development I have a passion for design systems, and making everything accessible. And making your design system usable by designers and developers. My favorite tool is Figma. I create web apps, mobile apps - everything you see on a screen. Happy to help, if you need some expertise there :-)
For Facelift's Design System, I created a library with all the possibilities of Figma, like variables, tokens, and all the stuff to empower the in-house designers to create CI-aligned layouts and prototypes and easy developer-hand-offs. Furthermore, I reworked the color system to ensure that all colors used are accessible to everyone. Furthermore, I took part in a product discovery to rebuild the product area of campaign management. The goal was to create a short- and a long-term vision for different users.
I had the pleasure of helping the XING design system with a huge update. The aim of the project was to create an update of the design library in Figma, with improved usability for all disciplines, and to make the design process more efficient. My main areas of activity: 1. Improving UI elements for designers, taking advantage of new capabilities of Figma 3. Aligning the existing design library with the design elements that have already been programmed 4. Documentation of the modules in the product guide
For ubilabs, I had the pleasure of supporting different projects. I supported project managers with scribbles and ideas, to pitch for projects based around ubilabs services on Google Maps. Furthermore, I was responsible for the UX and UI of websites for clients like ESA or Greenpeace. I created user flows, prototypes, module-based website systems, and finally all UI elements. During production, i teamed up with the developers to bring everything live as expected - or even better ;-)

UX/UI Designer
Aidhere GmbH (now: Sidekick)
I have prepared the Kontina app (a behavioral therapy app) for the market. This included the integration of various new features as well as the integration of feedback after user tests. Based on an overarching in-house design system, the app received its own CI. I was part of an agile product development team, together with the PO I developed the necessary features and provided the developers with everything necessary to bring the app to life.
I supported the Email Team with building a Figma design library. The independent design library enables all team members to quickly design, build, and test emails. Emails at XING are built with different systems, the Design Systems covers those differences, as well as the different content approaches like platform or marketing mail. It also ensures that emails look the same on all platforms and clients - either in light or in dark mode, and are always aligned with the overall XING design system.
I supported the “meHub” team in bringing a rough product vision to the XING platform. The main task was to establish a new product area. I had to find an iterative approach to transform the idea into a usable product that seamlessly integrated into the entire platform. Adding new elements to the design systems and coordinating them with other product areas was an essential part of the design work here.

I supported the team creating the design of a Mobile (iOS & Android) app for a large german assurance company, that tracks the driving behavior of the user. The data is transparent for the user and "good" behaviour is rewarded. My role was to design the app based on rough ideas. A big part of the job was to create prototypes, animations and presentations of ideas and behaviors.
