- Ensure Management and other stakeholders are well updated with Government Accounting processes and procedures. - Representing the Accounts department in Procurement and Tender Committee Meetings. - Interpreting and implementing financial regulations and procedures, treasury circulars, letters and instructions. - Coordinating and developing supplementary financial regulations and procedures to enhance internal controls. - Putting in place sound and Strong Internal Controls Systems.

- Preparation of consolidated financial reports as per donor requirements. - Preparing budgets and ensuring that they serve the purpose of donor requirements. - Preparing annual work plans for the head office as per work operations. - Training workers on the use of the Microsoft Dynamics ERP NAV (Navision) Accounting Software. - Training of health facilities in charge on maintaining proper records and bookkeeping. -Prepare ,monthly,quartery and annual financial reports. - Interpreating financial circulars.

I was in charge of budget preparation and implementation. I had to cost every service in the department and help the health management team in making decisions on the same. For reporting purposes, I was to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual reports are prepared and submitted to the National Treasury. I was responsible for Conducting internal audits, monitoring and reporting accounting inconsistencies and also keeping the department updated on all financial regulations.
