Technically responsibile for Systems Team development activities within a production project for the development of a Gasoline EMS (Engine Management System) for a leading German OEM (passengers cars).

Project: EU6 diesel common rail electronic control system development for a leading german OEM Main activities: - Implementation of customer requirements (main functional area: Engine Torque Structure - torque to fuelling setpoints) - Model-based SW development - Functional validation

Activities: - Technical management of AUTOSAR Basic SW supplier for a new EPB ECU under development - Design of AUTOSAR SW architecture and integration of existing model-based application SW - Optimization of Targetlink auto generated code - Implementation of a Model Based testing framework and requirements traceability - Implementation of application diagnostics and recoveries

Activities: - Functional specification definition (together with Mechanical and Hydraulics departments) - Algorithms and Control Strategies design - Rapid prototyping of control functions - SW development for production ECU -“In-vehicle” testing and “in-vehicle” control functions calibration (together with Testing department) - Test-bench testing and relative acquisition/data analysis/reporting (applying dynamical systems identification techniques ).

During my stage, i was involved in the model based design of an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) control system for passenger cars.

During this period I worked on my thesis project, developing an Harware In the Loop simulator for the functional testing of a powershif transmission control ECU. The simulator was developed using LabView programing language and National Instruments hardware on a standard PC.
