Management of logistics services, raw materials, packaging, MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) and company investments acquisitions. Implementation of WMS, TMS and e-procurement. Development and purchase of freight service, packaging and equipment for the plant. Elaboration of the planning and strategic negotiation of services (including logistics) and materials. Sourcing of national and international suppliers and products. Created Purchase Department (startup)

Responsible for receiving, storage, picking, distribution, reverse logistics, technical repair operations for national and imported non-food products, as well as for the Call Center operations which supported the interface with the trucks drivers and the shops, leading over 500 people – direct employees and partners. Responsible for average of R$ 450 million (delivered/transportes goods) per month 16,000 SKUs, 180 inbound vehicles per day and 200 outbound loads per day.

In charge of the negotiation and planning of services, raw materials, packaging and MRO (maintenance, repair and operations), managing an annual budget of R$ 160 million. Restructured and defined procedures for receiving material, inventory control and purchasing. Developed cost models for many products and supplier processes. Responsible for implementing and managing the KPI’s. ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001.

Negotiation and purchasing of national and imported raw materials (R$ 65 million/year) and dairy ingredients (R$ 35 million/year), MRO and CAPEX for the plants (team of 8 buyers in 3 sites). Negotiated service contracts and the outsourcing operations. Led the realization of e-purchasing. Built cost breakdown models for suppliers and their products. Established KPIs. Built annual budgets for raw material costs, reporting to the local Director and to the Global Purchasing structure.

In charge of logistics projects in all Brazil sites, implementation of process improvements and reduction in the cost of storage, distribution, transport of final products. I was also in charge of logistics benchmarking and evaluation of synergy projects. Evaluated the company’s distribution net for the Northeast and São Paulo state areas, in order to increase Danone’s distribution service level and reduce logistics costs.

Managed Danone’s São Paulo Regional Base, responsible for distribution in this region (35% of the company’s volume), leading a team of 12 professionals, 65 carriers and 28 warehouse operators. Freight and storage negotiations. Managed the unit’s supplying, warehouse operation, distribution and cash payment delivery processes, preventive maintenance for this equipment. Coordinated night deliveries for 28 companies of the food sector.

Responsible for controlling the Logistics management, following the planning and development projects and optimizing projects. Structured the pallet management for the entire company. Developed and managed KPIs and the budget for all Danone Logistics units

Worked in Strategic Planning, developing studies to restructure the net of production and gas distribution units, the transport and the demand areas. Built several scenarios, considering demand variations in each region of the country and over many years.

Developed a Warehouse Management System, which uses the recording of addresses and barcode identification. Developed the system as requested by the client. The system allowed to trace the order and each item during all production and storage processes; eliminate double production; print invoices without mistakes and according to what was effectively loaded; manage price lists and sales people performance; and many other operational and management facilities, besides the basic and legal ones.
