Solar blind extreme ultra-violet (EUV) detector devices are considered by the European Space Agency (ESA) as appropriate devices for applications in the extreme ultra-violet on next solar mission. The aim of the project is to fabricate a 2-D pixel array camera for the EUV light. My task was the “integration of detector and readout chips by improving indium bumps process”. The thesis work supported research paper will be published in a short time.

The internship task was the “construction and testing of a multi-channel polychromator for the fiber Bragg grating sensors”. That involved a good understanding of the optical fiber sensors, expansion possibilities, familiarity of designing and the construction designs have been developed using new design software, Autodesk inventor. The FBG sensors have applications in strain and temperature monitoring, transportation, civil engineering etc.

I have been working in a hydel marketing department where I was involved in making tenders of different projects. The task included project quotation, proposals, prices, negotiation, services and approach to new customers. The position inherited the responsibility for coordination of all technical activities including and ensuring an effective communication between participants of the project. I have gained an experience and a knowledge in the energy sector where I was mainly dealt with Ele. equipments.
