Über mich
Hi, I'm Marc, a multidisciplinary designer based in Germany. I specialize in Integrated Design, with a solid background in Industrial Design, Product Development, Process Optimization, and Mechanical Engineering, gained from studies at Köln International School of Design (TH Köln) and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (香港理工大學). Throughout my career, I have taken on roles such as Industrial Designer, Design Engineer, and Art Director, blending design thinking, programming, sustainability, engineering, and hands-on work. My work includes collaborating on cross-cultural projects in Shanghai and Taipei, co-founding a design collective in Hong Kong, and tutoring design students. As the former Head of Industrial for Design I also worked for conservation programs, biological centers and governmental associations on species protection. Currently, at undefault™, I lead a team creating innovative, user-centric products that push the boundaries of technology and aesthetics.

»Integrated Design« integrates different design and scientific approaches from design areas and design-related disciplines. Students gain extensive methodology skills from at least ten areas of expertise as well as other design, analytical and conceptual specialist knowledge, in a flexible study structure of eight semesters. Thus, they systematically begin to understand and use the diversity of design. These qualifications are complemented by intercultural experience and language competence.
