Currently I'm leading the development team that is bringing Windows 10 to the Raspberry Pi this year. We are working on a small, secure and manageable version of Windows 10 for the Internet of Things. My team ensures that Windows 10 is best in class in Security, Privacy, Dev, Designer, and Ops Experience, providing makers a marketplace, and out of box M2M, cloud connectivity and Telemetry to help them ship their innovations faster than on any other Operating system out there today.

As part of this role I was responsible for development of all NT based embedded operating systems. I managed a team of developers across Redmond, India and China that shipped Windows Embedded Standard 8, Windows Embedded Industry 8 and 8.1 and Windows Embedded Handheld ("Industry Mobile") 8 and 8.1.

Before working on NT based Windows Embedded, I led a team of developers across the US, Europe, China and India responsible for Windows CE, including Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5, CE 5, 6, Compact 7 and 2013. We shipped Compact 2013 (CE 8), helped customers commercialize on CE and ran sustained engineering for the product line.

Responsible for the Windows Embedded Automotive product line and OEM Partner support teams across Europe, US, Korea and Japan. During my time, the team shipped Microsoft Auto 3.0 (“Talladega”), 3.1, and 4.0 (“Bristol”), 4.1 (“Bristol FP”), Windows Embedded Auto 7 (“Motegi”), and after transitioning the project ownership back to Microsoft Ford Sync "My Touch" (Gen2), v 3.6 release.

I started working at Microsoft as part of the first version of Ford Sync (Gen1), codenamed "Maverick" and the Fiat Blue & Me (codenamed “Lingotto”) Infotainment system projects where we shipped several high quality automotive grade features including the automotive Bluetooth stack and profiles (HFP, A2DP, Pairing, Serial, etc.), Device Management, DirectShow, MTP, iPod, DM, PDK, Reliability, Radio, display and touch drivers as well as the 1394 stack

Before Microsoft I worked on several strategic projects across BSQUARE’s product divisions, leveraging mostly Java and C/C++, including the “Maui” Smartphone, Services, and Navigation Application. This included the development of telematics services and Mobile Guide online navigation app, enrollment and onboarding service for the Mobile Device Management product, as well as power management driver and FW update tools for the Maui platform
