Studied sustainability, volunteered with different sustainable communities and other organizations, taught English in Indonesia, the Philippines and China, freelance web development, volunteering as reviewer for journals/ conferences and adviser for PhD students; traveled around Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Coordinating the contribution of the TU-Berlin (5 institutes, about 20 researchers) for the smart senior project (intelligent services for senior citizens, www.smart-senior.de).
