This year, sixty European engineering and science students had been chosen to participate in the 41st Summer School Alpbach, a ten day learning opportunity held in the Austrian Alps. Participants had been engaged in an in-depth learning experience. Over 10 days they attended stimulating lectures on various aspects of space science and engineering and worked intensely within smaller groups to define and design a space mission under the supervision of noted scientific and engineering experts within the field.

- Involvment in safety revew, structural verification and fracture control certification processes for human space flight payloads (to be flown in the ISS). - Structure and configuration engineer for CDF (Concurrent Design Facility) for 2 studies: • HRLPM2 for Human Robotic Lunar Partnership Mission : in charge of the rover and the sample container configuration and structure. • THOR, Cosmic Vision M2 mission studying plasma turbulence in space : in charge of the configuration.
