My current role encompasses the management of all Security functions relating to the SAP R/3 (4.6C, ECC6), APO and BW systems. My responsibilities include:  User Master Management (2000+ Users)  Management of all SAP authorization aspects  Strong understanding of IT security practices  Development of all new and existing roles for R/3, APO and BW  Analysing and resolving issues with existing roles, profiles and user masters

Once the Italian project had finished I returned to Paris to join the newly formed Smurfit division that was created to manage and support the SAP R/3 infrastructure. My responsibilities include:  Management of all interfaces between non-sap systems and R/3 –APO using Unix, ALE, IDOC and EDI technologies  Creation and support of centralised interface management system covering six countries and 50+ interfaces.  Development and support of a European Extranet for the corrugated divisions.

I joined the Italian arm of the SAP R/3 project as an Integration manager to ensure that SAP R/3 was integrated into their current technical infrastructure. My duties included:  Integration of Italy into the interface management system  Creation of Batch and NT script for Italian servers  Creation of SAP R/3 security and controls profiles for the Italian users  Working on Organisational design with the functional teams  Managing local It resources who were responsible for technical support in the

When the UK implementation had finished I joined the technical services team at the SAP R/3 helpdesk in Paris as the complementary software products manager. As part of a three man technical services team my responsibilities included:  Creation of a European Interface management system. I wrote and developed the Unix scripting and procedures that were using to transfer interface files between the various legacy systems and SAP R/3.  SAP R/3 IDOC and ALE monitoring  Management and support of Unix based

After the Analysis was complete I was asked to become a member of the project team that would implement SAP R/3 in the UK and Ireland. I became part of a three man technical services team and my role involved the following:  Defining Infrastructure requirements and creating roll-out plans for all hardware across thirty-five sites  Roll-out of NT Workstation involving 350 Pc’s  Providing Technical Support for Project Offices (Networking, Exchange, Office, NT server/Workstation SAP Gui….etc)  Ordering

When the roll-out of the software was completed I was seconded to a project team whose task was the roll out of SAP R/3 to the Companies European operation. The roll-out was split by country and my role involved visiting all the sites in the UK and Ireland and carrying out a full analysis of their technical and business systems, as well as documenting all business processes and procedures.

Part of a team assembled, in conjunction with a software house to install a shop floor data collection and production planning system in the companies UK sites. This role involved:  Testing and Development of the new applications  SQL Database Management  Development of bolt-on reporting system using Microsoft Access  Ordering, Configuration and Installation of Hardware  Creation of Training materials and planning training of employees  Creation of Access based stock management system  Support
