Work included: - Automation design and implementation for 24V vehicle systems; - Design and ordering of metal and 3D printed plastic components; - Sensor, actuator, and embedded hardware selection; - Built breakout-based "devkits" for the embedded software team; - Safety analyses (EN 13849 and ISO 26262); - Assisted software team with comm. bus and signal processing issues.

An internship within which I had the opportunity to react with every branch of Vision Dynamix' product: Geodetic mapping drones. Projects included: - The complete design of a camera gimbal/stabiliser (electronics, mechanics, and firmware) - Coding interfaces around API accesses to ensure portability (C++) - Researching and implementing point-cloud filtering algorithms to assist with the SLAM mapping (Python)
Prototyped non-AI based human detection for human-robot cooperation purposes in industry at Bosch's Corporate Research in Renningen, DE. - Using various RGB-D cameras, researched and implemented various adaptive video segmentation algorithms (MATLAB, Python, C++, CUDA); - Designed and printed various enclosures for PCBs designed by colleagues
