Project management of the European Regional Distribution Project of Honeywell. As a result of this project 26 warehouses in Europe were consolidated into 4 regional warehouses 6 months operations leader to stabilize the business for the Environmental business in Brno, CZ Leader of Logistics Integration of Novar ($1.5b purchase price) Achieved Logistic integration savings of > $500k in warehousing cost and freight spend
Successful completion of 4 weeks training in the Toyota production system Project lead for the „CashMax“ Project; The inventories in Schoenaich were reduced by 30% Training of employees as Six Sigma Green Belts Several improvement projects also outside Germany; for example in Hungary First full time Lean Resource in this Honeywell plant, took out >$1m inventories
Design of a new low cost electronic manufacturing department, using continuous flow and U-shaped cells. I grew the department from 12 people to a staff of 75 direct reports and was responsible for cost and inventory management as well as product availability. Special award for the flawless introduction of a new generation of building automation systems 1999: COP (customer oriented production) Reengineering Project at the Honeywell Consumer Products factory in Porto, Portugal
Responsible for the management of a team of 5 tool design engineers and 6 tool makers in the in-house tool shop. After a few months the parallel assignment as a production leader started. Manager of tool design and tool shop; starting 08/97 parallel assignment as Leader System Components Management of a project to plan and install a manufacturing group focused on low cost electronics manufacturing Implemented a solid resource and project management process to support on-time new product introduction
