The research was performed as a part of my Master's thesis. Improving the accuracy of forest stand inventory information also improves the efficiency of wood sourcing operations, management of the forest reserve and minimizing the costs. Knowing the diameter-distribution is as important as the traditional stand wise forest attributes. The diameter distribution model uses the two-parameter Weibull function as well as the parameter recovery method (PRM) in the calculations.

Assisting in several R&D projects regarding wood procurement and wood production operations.

Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the company's budget and financial plan. The task includes reporting of the economic situation on a quarterly basis, as well as the maintenance of accounting records. Taking care of the salaries and invoicing were also CFO's responsibilities.CFO makes the pricing of the products together with the CEO.

In Stora Enso Metsä my work consisted of assisting the operator as well as the forest experts at work. Counting the harvest wages was one of the biggest responsibilities. I also designed some harvesting plans and marked the stands in the field. My experience as a host was also developed during forest-side visits by the business associates of Stora Enso.
