IG Metall is Germany’s biggest labor union and the largest industrial union in Europe. • Proactively overhauled presentation concept for recruiting members: Designed 3 situation-specific slideshows (10, 20, 60 slides) with visualizations and animations of collective bargaining, along with script for speech. • Self-dependently presented (~1h, incl. FAQ) in to >20 trainees/event, recruited at 68% sign up rate • Assisted union secretaries during internal coordination, negotiations and strikes.

Held during state budget negotiations in November 2021, the internship comprised the following: • Conducted preparatory and follow-up research for multi-partisan budget committee, and for the Green Party's budget task force • Did casework • Skimmed and assigned relevance to parliamentary motions and requests • Developed presentation concept for town hall meeting explaining the parliamentary procedure of “passing a budget” with visual-heavy PowerPoint, handout, and detailed script for speech.
