Responsible for a) Finance Division (Export finance, Treasury, Controlling, Accounting, TAX); b) Compliance (Forensic, Compliance, Internal Control and Improvements, Information Security); c) Process Innovation (IT/ICT development and maintenance, Industry 4.0, Project management in digital and technological investments); and d) Shared Services (Facility Management, Car Fleet, Travel Office).

Advised on acquisitions, financial due diligence, risk assessment and post acquisition integration project management. He also (on behalf of key stakeholders) led management consulting in risk assessments and mitigation programs, cost down plans, process improvements and internal audit tasks. The clients included major leading investment group and other entities such as a reputable valuation company in Prague, etc.

Responsible for Finance, Operations, M&A, Legal issues and IT/ICT Reengineering of the group structure and its procedures and management methods active involvement in successful negotiations with potential strategic investors to the Czech Assembly and Repairs sub-group, to Local Distribution company and to Energy sales company Finalization of negotiations with the third investor (to Energy, turnover:1.5 billion CZK, then became Chairman of Board of Directors of this firm)

After joining the firm, main objectives included department restructuring, reengineering, pre-acquisition due diligence and systems implementation. Developed internal Program of Project Management Training (Ist and IInd stage of hard skills, such as legal, claim management, finance; and third stage: – soft skills). This program perceived as very beneficial by both the participants and the firm. sStructuring and negotiating large commercial deals, mainly in the Czech and Slovak Republics

• Joined in 1991 as Chief of Finance and Accounting, responsible for bookkeeping and accounting; controlling, HR and IT, reporting to the mother company • In 1995, became the Director of Finance and Administration. Also, a member of extended Board of Directors; and in 1997 became a Senior Vice-president; responsibilities then included management of Finance and Controlling, Legal Services, HR, Administration and IT; responsible also for management of work and fire safety, negotiating with Trade Union, etc.

Joined as a financial specialist in Investment Division; preparing and financial rating of investment projects, preparation of free-lancing projects, etc. During the Czech privatization (1989 – 1990) spearheaded all process activities relevant to their firm. In 1990 the company transformed to an a.s. and so became Head of Finance and Bookkeeping in Production Division. One of new projects was to establish Hady-Metall a.s.
