Nicolas Lampe

As a research assistant in the field of autonomous driving at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, my focus was on vehicle environment perception. I was involved in a project with a top automotive supplier as well as the Leibniz University Hanover. My tasks included planning and conducting experimental test drives, preparing and analyzing data, and developing different estimators for the vehicle's environment. Additionally, I was involved in teaching content related to IoT as well as Industry 4.0.

During my time as a visiting research scientist at the Institute of Mechatronic Systems in Hanover, I was part of the Identification & Control research group. I was very happy to have the opportunity to work with my colleagues in Hanover in the field of autonomous driving.

During my internship at ZF, I worked on my master’s thesis titled "Development of a Design-Optimized Sensor System for the Chassis in a Near-Series Environment." This experience allowed me to apply my academic knowledge to practical challenges, focusing on enhancing sensor systems for automotive applications.
