• conducting a study on British migrants in Berlin • analysing the effect of the Brexit referendum on British migrants’ future mobility plans and their identification as British and European • in regard of local practices and the feeling of attachment to neighbourhood we were trying to extend current studies based on middle class to skilled migrants and contribute to the discussion about whether or not mobile middle classes engage in the city and develop feelings of attachment

At the Humboldt University the social science sub-disciplines political science and sociology are combined. During my studies, I was therefore able to focus on the fields of social inequality (gender | migration | achieving/class society), social policy (digitization | trade unions), urban sociology, democracy research (inclusion and exclusion | understanding of democracy) and qualitative methods of research.
