I was responsible for both proactive and reactive data analysis on a variety of Police data-sets on the SAS platform, and provided advice to executive decision makers in the organisation. My duties included: monthly performance reporting against organisational targets, providing ad-hoc analysis for areas of interest to help leadership understand problems which were unclear and developing key performance indicator dashboards.

I led operations for a food wholesaler. This involved all aspects of organising delivery runs, including co-ordinating orders for the day, directing and helping with the picking of product, addressing issues with orders and invoicing, ensuring timeliness, and managing staff. In this role I developed my communication and time management skills, to ensure new issues and tasks were quickly understood and sorted.

This role was for project- and advice-based work. My main project was documenting the data flow of information when a person dies, looking at issues and what the organisation could do to improve these as the holder of life event information. Day-to-day work included interpreted policy and legislation to give advice on complex certificate requirements, leading change to organisational processes which were not fit-for-purpose and processing Privacy Act and Official Information Act requests.
