Designing, implementing and testing embedded software for Microchip PIC devices in C/ASM. The devices are used in intelligent sensor networks, and also in cars. My job is to develop every kind of software from the most basic LED blinking/hardware testing programs to data collector software for fleet management systems. I have had experience with many low-level communication interfaces: CAN, SPI, UART, I2C, 1Wire etc. I also develop the management software of the sensor network in C#/ASP.NET MVC.

Assisting at the laboratory course of the Communication Networks I. subject. At the classes I help students with their exercises and answer their questions. This requires deep knowledge of all seven layers of the OSI model, details of networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, IPv6 etc), and also requires good communication skills.

I developed the PC software and Windows service for an RFID based ticket reservation system, which included everything from the low-level serial communication with the RFID reader to FirebirdSQL server drivers and TCP-based network services.

During my summer internship, I developed the communication stack for an automated storage system, together with the low-level interface between Siemens PLC, CAN/Ethernet gateway and PC.
