AS a part of my thesis I am working on a project titled " In vitro evaluation of small molecules for antimicrobial activity in gram negative bacteria". It involves testing of the compounds isolated from High though put screening for their antimicrobial activity by targeting their virulence in gram negative pathogens by optimization of different techniques and also test their cytotoxic activity in eukaryotic cells.

Was involved with the project "Isolation and reprogramming of fibroblasts into functional cardiomyocytes." The project I have done here as a research student assistant involved isolating the porcine fibroblasts from the heart tissue and culturing the cells aseptically and using transcription factors with specific cocktails for directed differentiation and detection of markers specific for cardiomyocytes.

Worked as a research trainee under Biotech Industrial Training Programme (BITP) sponsored by Department of Biotechnology from the Government of India. The Project involves the extraction of the plant sample through different solvents and detection of the phytochemicals in each extracted solvent and isolation of flavonoid compound from the extract and evaluation of the antioxidant activity of each extract.
