- Research and memorandums, client letters, and sections of briefs in areas of international arbitration and international trade, including the issues of moral damages in arbitration and the use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose tariffs - Defensive asylum case: Writing interview questions, drafting witness statements, compiling country conditions report in Spanish-language materials Writing a brief on the 8 U.S.C. § 1101(a)(42)(A) requirement

- Researched and contributed litigation strategy in the highest court of an African State; - Successful supplemental brief for the federal District Court of Nevada; processed and responded to requests for discovery in compliance with the Hague Evidence Convention and 28 U.S.C. § 1782 - Wrote several research memorandums, including an in-depth assignment on the novel issue of adjudicatory jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. § 1782 - Translated evidence, court documents, and phone calls.

- Wrote, reviewed, and translated transnational contracts and investigations in English and in Spanish - Assisted on strategy in an investor arbitration case; observed M&A, labor, investigation, arbitration, and litigation proceedings; learned about the Argentine civil code and procedure - Presented in Spanish to the firm, other local firms, and members of the Embassy on issues in U.S. law.

- Wrote an internal legal memorandum describing the several foreign legal systems in which the Office operates and the importance of incorporating them in policy design; researched and advised on ways to more effectively interface with the economic chiefs at embassies - Monitored and translated Spanish-language news and social media; researched and drafted issue briefs and joined in presenting them to outgoing ambassadors; represented the Office in a town hall with Secretary Pompeo.
