I am presently in the process of introducing a new natural personal care range based on the unique ingredient Totarol™.

My mission is to market New Zealand derived natural products internationally. The main product is presently Totarol™ which had to be introduced to the international market place as a completely new ingredient. The substance is presently exported to many countries around the globe and was the first natural ingredient from NZ to make its way into the world’s largest cosmetics company L’Oreal in France.

In 2001, I joined this biotechnology company as a shareholder and director. This company produces Totarol™, a unique natural ingredient derived from dead totara wood which is at this stage mainly used in the cosmetics and personal care industries.

I have been pro-actively marketing New Zealand as a destination through this company and have been awarded a New Zealand Tourism Award for “Marketing – Market Development” in 1992. My company pioneered the concept of nationwide “Off Road Touring” in New Zealand and is still the market leader with representation throughout the world. I sold the company in 2012 and have since then been involved in a consulting capacitiy.
