As Chief Research Officer I am looking for the perfect combination of methods, technologies and architectures for the most efficient creation of data warehouse and business intelligence systems. The comprehensive automation of data warehouses is the focus of my work.

I am convinced that data warehouse automation has to be done on a much wider scale than has been the case so far. We have to enable business analysts to transfer their business requirements directly to a Data Warehouse. This is exactly our goal at yotilla and a major step for our customers towards data driven business.

I founded areto consulting GmbH as managing partner. The claim of areto is to build and maintain reliable data warehouses with very good performance for our customers. As CTO, I was passionately advocating our "Performance by Design" approach to achieve these goals. That's why I have consistently developed standards and frameworks to efficiently implement and maintain our business intelligence projects. I have shared the results and insights in various talks at conferences and workshops for customers.

I worked as a freelance Business Intelligence consultant in various projects and prepared the foundation of areto consulting GmbH. I also became an active member and co-organizer of the Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) community.

I started my career as Oracle Database and Oracle Forms Developer as well as Project Manager before I became enthusiastic about Business Intelligence. I improved my skills for efficiently processing large amounts of data and integrating data from different systems into a data warehouse became my passion.
