Building a product that rethinks Data Warehouse Automation from the ground up. The goal: define business objects, relationships, and KPIs at the conceptual level and derive everything downstream automatically.

After Exasol acquired yotilla, I led the product from prototype to market readiness. My focus was on shaping the product vision, defining the automation approach, and translating complex Data Warehouse requirements into a coherent product strategy.

As Chief Research Officer, I focused on methods, technologies, and architectures for efficient Data Warehouse and BI development, particularly Data Warehouse Automation.

I co-founded yotilla with the conviction that Data Warehouse Automation needs to work on a much wider scale. Our goal was to enable business analysts to translate their business requirements directly into modern Data Warehouses, without relying on manual data modeling or ETL development. Yotilla was acquired by Exasol in 2020.

I co-founded areto consulting and served as CTO for over 11 years. Our focus was building reliable, high-performance Data Warehouses. I developed standards and frameworks for efficient BI project delivery and shared insights through conference talks and customer workshops.

I worked as a freelance Business Intelligence consultant and prepared the foundation of areto consulting GmbH. I also became an active member and co-organizer of the Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) community.

I started my career as Oracle Database and Oracle Forms Developer and Project Manager before moving into Business Intelligence. Over eight years, I built deep expertise in processing large data volumes and integrating data from multiple systems into Data Warehouses.
