CFO for a PE-owned supplier of construction materials with €200m revenues across 5 jurisdictions. Responsible for finance, accounting & controlling, treasury, budgeting, legal and IR as well as certain aspects of IT, HR and purchasing. Special projects included working capital management, real estate transactions (via sale-and-leaseback) and the introduction of IFRS across all entities. My initiatives yielded significant liquidity improvements for the group and markedly exceeded expectations.

Director and project leader for a business advisory company, specializing in restructuring as well as corporate finance and M&A. Notable projects for which I was responsible included (1.) the successful restructuring of a large automotive supplier and subsequent sale to a PE investor, (2.) funding a start-up in rail freight services via subsidies, subsidized loans, financial leasing and equity and (3.) the M&A sale of a mechanical engineering company. These projects were all commercially very successful.

Co-founder of a familiy-owned company for real estate investments and property developments. As the commercial CEO of REDACON, I acquired and/or developed €50mn worth of residential real estate assets. My primary responsibilities were finance & accounting, financing, budgeting and legal.

As a very active non-executive director of Track Group, I represented the company’s European investors. I held a key role in recapitalising and restructuring the business. As a result of these efforts, the company's stock market value grew approximately 700% during my tenure on the board.

Sapinda is a family office investing in all asset classes and advises clients in raising capital. We provided financing via equity, debt and mezz instruments. My last position was Head of Origination at Sapinda’s bank-licensed sister-company, Anoa. I conducted M&A, equity listings, debt issuance and securitisation transactions. Before Anoa, I was responsible for identification, valuation, structuring and execution of equity and debt investments (public and private), coordinating DD and legal advisory teams.

At Deutsche Bank, I worked in the advisory teams to large corporate clients in all questions related to corporate finance - especially high profile M&A transactions but also investor relations as well as debt and equity capital markets. Many of my clients were from the media industry.
