CADMS: Led and contributed to modelling and surveillance of foreign zoonosis, providing expertise in epidemiology and epidemic risk analysis, survey strategy, database architecture, and data management, processing, analytics, and reporting. CDPH: Audited and documented compliance of of HCPs, LHDs, health clinics and laboratories with the State Communicable Disease Reporting System, reported findings to California Legislature, Department of Public Health, and the CDC. UCD: Researcher from 2000 to 2002.

Started as part-time Systems Engineer/EHS Engineer Consultant, then became full-time Director in charge of the Departments of Quality Assurance and Environmental Health and Safety. Produced and managed Total Quality Assurance programs to optimize process and quality improvement as part of the management of a 100-vehicle fleet. Directed market research and analysis, audits, training & development, equipment inspection and testing, and client/vendor relations. Supervised staff. Reported directly to the CEO.

Nestlé: Led a 5-person team created by the Director-General as part of the "Industrial Management for the Future Project" assigned to revive and optimize selected food manufacturing processes of strategic interest. IRTA: Originated an optimized mathematical-statistical model detailing the industrial drying process for dry-cured meat products, cementing product quality amid large-scale production systems. Publicized the results at the annual global meat technology conference (ICoMST) held in Barcelona.
