In a business development role at Windward, my main focus was taking my previous experiences as an account executive, sales engineer and support engineer to provide insight into industry trends and processes that will further the Windward product in the marketplace. The responsibilities of this role included creating new cohesive product development and messaging across multiple mediums to ensure a concise consistent experience and presentation.

As an international account manager at Windward I established and maintained accounts in India and the EMEA region. My main responsibilities in this role involved improving the efficiency of the sales process and expanding Windward's presence in these regions. Windward is a unique product that interfaces directly into Microsoft Office to easily create templates pulling data from a variety of data sources. A large client base in Europe, Pacific Rim and the US. Windward is always expanding and innovating.

As a sales and support engineer I assisted with the development of the Windward reporting engine in both C# and Java. I was responsible for the preparation and execution of customer demonstrations and proof of concept evaluations. Creation of a training program and documentation wiki providing a central storage of critical customer facing information. Execution of several professional services contracts interfacing with customers to design and deploy Windward according to their specifications and timelines.

I worked with Economics Professor Dr. Miles Light from the University of Colorado Business Research Division on various projects that ranged from analysis of Medicaid and Medicare data to reduce spending in the state of Colorado, financial analysis of wealth distribution in 3rd and 2nd world countries. The majority of my work was assisting in the setup and maintenance of remote Linux hosted solutions and customized MediaWiki installations. Other projects required SQL database querying and administration.

PHP contract programming for Celebrity Access a company that sells information on the buying and selling of talent in the music industry via their commercial website. My tasks included Suse Linux administration, design and deployment of a new data model to ensure increased performance and correlation of data.

GigTrak was an innovation in a flash based web GUI with a PHP backend. Founder Mark Donovan and I worked to connect GigTrak to the Celebrity Access talent database to facilitate a start to finish experience for booking talent acts. My main contributions were implementing a connection to the iCalendar and Google Calendar interfaces.

NIC's branch Iowa Interactive specialized in converting state forms to online documents for submission or renewal. Iowa Interactive started with driver's license and property tax systems and moved into other areas of state government automation. Built IT projects to streamline office development. My main project for the Iowa Highway Patrol used an XML feed to query and return information on crash reports in each county of the state. I worked in the firmware failure analysis division at Maxtor Corporation as an intern for my degree in ECE. I was responsible for testing failed hard drives that returned from the initial pre-production lines in both California and Singapore. These tests included firmware errors, read/write cycle analysis and identification of error patterns. I also created an internal website for all hard drives errors and error codes to be quickly referenced when troubleshooting current errors.
