    My master’s thesis focuses on evaluating NEKO, a higher-order spectral element code and successor to NEK5000, for aerodynamic simulations around airfoil profiles used in wind turbines. The project involves a comparative analysis of physical accuracy and computational efficiency on High Performance Computing (HPC) platforms, leveraging both GPU and CPU resources. Additionally, I developed comprehensive preprocessing (Gmsh) and post-processing methodologies (ParaView - PvPython, PvBatch and FORTRAN).
