Investigation of aged stock breaks – number of breaks reduced from 900 to 36. Trade input and settlements for France, Netherlands and Spain. Working alongside settlements department and management to analyse current procedures and implement improvements.

Far East settlements – HK, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia. Including South Africa, Turkey, India, Australia and New Zealand. Stock and cash reconciliation for the above markets. Implementation of training for new recruits on all aspects of settlements and reconciliation. Involvement in project to improve knowledge and efficiency on the desk. Resolving any agent problems Creating market profiles/procedures and guidelines for stock reconciliations.

German Domestic Settlements. Use of Cascade to match trades for two morning cycles. Pre-matching trades. Failed trade investigation. Clean-up of daily/aged cash breaks using Intellimatch. Clean up of stock breaks aged up to two years using Powerec. IPO’s – settlement success rate of 99% - 100% for primary and secondary trades. Far East Settlements. European Settlements. Checking positions and arranging stock borrows / returns. Liaison with traders and agents.
