Provided guidance, know-how and information for local and global decisions and projects improving company profitability. Redesigned finance processes and improved existing reports.

Developed and implemented new KPIs and reports contributing to quality and efficiency improvements. Created and conducted training sessions for managers of the Business Unit Pharma Manufacturing above finance and controlling.

Won the “Bravo” Prize of the FY 01/02 for the contribution above expectations to the gross profit through negotiations and impeccable execution of projects. Negotiated and prepared several contracts (packaging and raw-materials supply, equipments acquisition, contracted manufacturing, MRO materials, in-bound freight and other services). Supervised a technical buyer (MRO materials and technical services) and a purchase assistant.

Responsible for the negotiation, local development, aquisition, distribution and installation instructions of pumps.

Conducted operations globally with gold. Supervised the gold factory in Rio de Janeiro and representatives in the mining regions. Achieved about US$ 3.6 Mio of gross profit in 1995 through negotiations with gold.

Developed an Activity-Based Costing system for the production of greases. Implemented the 5S’s (Housekeeping) program in the grease plant. Maintenance of ISO 9002 Certificate. Monthly reporting.
