Assist GM with Admin work. Responsible for guest satisfaction review and reply, real time translation English to Chinese. Took lead of Brand Standard Audit (brand operation excellence program for Marriott) Performed MC for a number of hotel important PR events.

Worked as executive assistant to vice president of JDD group, a real estate group in China sharing strategic partnership with Marriott and Accor. Worked in Headquarter in Nanjing city, next to the Landmark Fairmont Nanjing. (JDD group is also the owner of the Fairmont Nanjing). Main task was to arrange VP's schedule and accompany business trips etc.

Taking the role as front desk manager in operating the very first Marriott Hotel in the Nanjing market. Preparing pre-opening kit for the front desk team and work with the pre-opening crew to deliver a brand new hotel. Job responsibilities covers managing the front desk team in an organized manner, forecasting inventory usage and make new purchase orders, monitor rooms sell performance and front desk staff up-selling revenue etc.

During the one year and half time, acting as a rooms MT, I worked at various departments, namely the Front Desk for 8 months, Club lounge for 2 months, the AYS (Call Center) for 3 months, Housekeeping for 4 month. (Cross training at Fitness, guest recognition, guest service, concierge in total for 1 month). I also attended core training from the Marriott International which are FOL (foundation of leadership, and 7 habits of highly effective people.

During the six months operational internship, I learned the daily operation of the Housekeeping department. In addition, I also mastered the skill to inspect a guest room flawless.
