• ’Mapping the worlds offline population’ social good project run in collaboration with University of Warwick and International Telecommunication Union, an UN agency. • Integrated ML pipeline with mlflow to predict online/offline population at regional level in pilot countries. • Developed automated data gathering and feature engineering pipeline with OOP that includes various open-source datasets: OpenStreetMap, OpenCelliD, Ookla Speedtest, Facebook Marketing API, Google Earth Engine API, WorldPop.

• Prepared dashboards regarding how employee characteristics affects happiness in the job using Tableau and ggplot2 library of R. • Developed and bench-marked predictive models on staff turnover rates on past employee data using scikit-learn package of Python. • Designed ensemble machine learning models with implemented SMOTE and under-sampling techniques on imbalanced data.

• Developed decision support module that determines the locations, types and number of the electrical vehicle charging stations to fill the expanding electrical vehicle charging demand in Turkey while maximizing the number of electric vehicles served within a given budget. • Integrated data processing pipeline which calculates driving distances between nodes using Google Maps Distance Matrix API and constructs KD-tree to create the full path using R and implemented UI using R Shiny.

• Proposed haulage optimization algorithm against inefficient production and high carbon-dioxide emissions in mines. The algorithm achieved 30% more efficient production schedule by routing and scheduling of trucks.

• Supported operations teams by developing BI tools. • Decreased amount of lost inventory and delivery costs by designing tools that fueled with algorithms using MS VBA.

• Assisted students of ’Data Structures and Algorithms’ class of Spring 2017 by providing feedback to their coding assignments in Matlab.

• Improved level of effective utilization of resources by 15% by designing ‘Capacity Planning Tool’ using MS VBA.
