When possible, as a freelancer, I do some software testing related to functional, usability, exploratory and load & performance test cycles types for web, mobile and desktop software applications. I have participated in 2 test cycles (related to 2 test cases, 2 products) so far and have found 2 bugs.

I have participated in 29 test cycles (related to 60 test cases, 20 products) so far and have found 11 bugs where two were considered (by the project managers) exceptional and three very valuable!

Main job is related to design & testing of software applications at embedded systems used in our main product, electron-beam mask writers: • Designed a software suite (using C language and shell scripting) to improve analysis of results of virtual mask writings. • Designed a hardware test tool to improve the diagnostics of system hardware failures in electro-beam mask writers. • Designed a basic rasterizer software application using CUDA.

• Installed, implemented and managed Web Servers (Tomcat, Apache, BEA WebLogic, and JBoss), and Databases (MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL) in Windows and Linux machines. • Installed and supported management to Linux servers using Red Hat 7.0. • Co-managed a project for a telecommunications company regarding migration to Windows 2000 (including also different vendors software packages) in more than 1,500 personal computers at customer branches.

• Participated as a member of the Organizer Committee of the 5th IFAC (International Federation of Automatic Control) Workshop on Intelligent Manufacturing Systems held in Gramado, Brazil on Nov. 1998. • Designed, implemented (using HTML) and administered the Electrical Engineering Department's home page. • Designed a supervisory system related to industrial automation systems using object-oriented concepts and Java (JDK 1.2).• Designed a software interface to a data logger using the Borland C++ Builder.
