Recruited by the former zone manager and hired by the dealer principal as general manager of a new but rather modest dealership with only 37 or so employees. Quickly improved misaligned vehicle inventories, implemented training programs, developed sales and service procedures, and executed targeted advertising. Improved dealership revenues, unit sales, and profits by more than 200 percent and maintained profitability on a monthly basis.
