Cleaning up archive databases using Perl-DBI and Sybase Transact-SQL. Object oriented design and implementation of Perl classes in order to meet the requirements of the complex logical structure of depencies.

Developed ANSI C routines for Global Transmission Services on the ISS. Developed a fast Point Location Algorithm to determine the time zone at a given position of the ISS. Performed background research and suggested an algorithm. Carried out two algorithms, converted the base data (27000 Polygone, 1.7 million data points) into an indexed binary file, encapsulated the algorithms with access to the binary files.

Designed and implemented backend processes within the work flow management in Perl. Database access using Sybase API or Perl-DBI.

Converted the internal IP Management into a Y2K compliant system. Ported an Ingres database to a new Ingres release with a new database structure. Adapted and tested the applications depending on this structure. Redesigned und re-implemented control scripts in ksh and Perl.

Converted specialized concepts into C. Programmed methods for thefuture Mercedes-Benz fleet man-agement and leasing system within the 30-member development team. Client-Server development in C on HP-UX with WindowsNT-Machine as work station. Configuration management using Continuus und i3Structure as the basis for a Client-Server-application. Oracle7 as database.

Borland C/C++ on PC using Win95 and a GemPlus chip card. Prepared C routines for saving and administering data on a chip card using the library functions of the manufacturer.

AIX (RS6000), DB2, CICS. Project to port a marketing system from RPG to Cobol. In this project I was exclusively responsible for system administration and support, programming with Korn-Shell, Perl, C.

Tested Client-Server document archive software for errors, functionality and user friendliness. Tested the software as user together along with software developers.

Industrial Image Processing , C development on PC using Watcom C-Compiler; Numerical routines for photo processing. Developed and implemented C routines for determining sub-pixels of edges, generated data files for tests, performed statistic analysis, located error sources.

Implemented numerical routines for solving solid-state mechanic equations in C. Programmed special integration routines for solving the Laplace and Lame equation.

Developed a numerical solution in Matlab for systems of differential equations in system and control technology by means of specialized iteration processes.

Ported a Mathematica Code for controlling a multi-axis robot arm to C. Redesign and reimplementation of the code in C, especially the underlying mathematical structures and functions. OS Irix on Silicon Graphics Indigo.

SunOs, C++. Implemented a class for handling timing in a project for process automation.
