I was responsible for creating and executing 6- to 12-month PR & marketing plans; creating and updating media databases; writing press releases and pitches; identifying key influencers for mail-outs and collaborations; pitching to editors to place authors and their books in the best outlets through editorial, features or media partnerships; liaising with journalists across the UK, the US, Africa and Europe; providing publicity for authors and their books on social media.

I've been involved in various art and film projects pitching to media, managing media relations, handling media requests and social media accounts, arranging media partnerships, securing sponsors and service providers.

I was heading the Russian Desk and was responsible for marketing the news agency’s broadcast services worldwide; supporting business development by identifying and attracting new clients, and television channels; liaising with TV channels and industry vendors around the world; maintaining client and vendor databases; planning and managing IHA resources to meet client needs; scheduling studio and SNG truck bookings; carrying out trouble-shooting of satellite transmissions.

I was responsible for marketing the company’s travel services and organising logistics for VIP Russian delegates attending the London Olympics; providing media support for Russia Sochi Park, a London-based hub of the Russian Olympic Committee, advising on and creating the media section of Russia Sochi Park's website.
