Advised both First Nations and non-First Nations clients, including advice, drafting and negotiation over settlement trusts and related tax matters, band bylaws, revenue account bylaws, impact benefit agreements, joint ventures (e.g., the development of a major highway and the exploration of minerals on traditional territory), property leases, commercial guarantees and indemnities, asset acquisitions, etc.

Senior Director and Chief Legal Officer. Acquired and established brand concepts and supporting outlets in various jurisdictions.

Senior corporate and commercial transaction attorney. Wayne Fidyk advised international and domestic clients in connection with securities law advice, transactional private equity, corporate strategies such as mergers & acquisitions (M&A), establishing domestic and offshore private equity funds and general corporate and commercial activities, including, joint ventures, corporate financings, franchises and agencies, etc.

Wayne Fidyk advised international and domestic clients in connection with M&A, joint ventures, initial public offerings, the marketing, offering and or selling of securities, general corporate and commercial law and exemptions from regulatory restrictions in regards to the issuance and transferability of securities under U.S. registered employee stock option plans.
