As a Network & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical planning and implementation of our local and global network architecture. For more than 45 years, DSA has been a leader in the development of innovative and customised communication solutions for automotive electronics. With your expertise, you will contribute to the continuous optimisation of our systems to ensure a secure, stable and powerful IT infrastructure at our global locations.

Your Tasks

• Together with the team, you are responsible for standardised VLAN, WAN, LAN and WLAN infrastructures and support their operation on a global level.
• You integrate networks and systems into central IT services such as logging (SIEM), authentication (e.g. Active Directory), asset management and vulnerability scanning.
• You are responsible for the administration of firewalls and VPNs as well as the provision of central network services such as DHCP and DNS.
• You contribute your technical expertise to the selection and introduction of new technologies in order to increase network performance and security (e.g. NAC, ZTNA).
• You analyse and monitor existing network infrastructures, create reports and optimise their performance in complex environments.
• In your role, you work closely with international locations.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a training or degree programme in computer science, business informatics or a related field.
• Ideally, you have an ITIL certification.
• You have in-depth knowledge of network technologies and several years of professional experience in similar positions.
• You have continuously followed the latest developments in modern technologies and best practices.
• With excellent organisational and time management skills, you work efficiently and accurately even under time pressure and high workloads.
• As an analytical thinker, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You work independently and at the same time value working in a team.
• With a visionary approach, you drive projects forward and actively contribute new solutions.
• You are fluent in German and English.
