What the job looks like
Every day you will enjoy different challenges such as:
- As BPO (Business Process Owner), continuously improving processes, tools, ways of working, and systems; ensuring these are fully and consistently utilized in line with defined guidelines to achieve desired outcomes for owned processes.
- Developing, training, and coordinating the BPE (Business Process Expert) network to support continuous improvement initiatives, tool adoption, change management, and best-practice sharing; ensuring the availability of required resources (toolkits, processes, RACI, training, systems) to enable proper execution of business processes.
- Working cross-functionally with impacted areas (e.g., IT, Compliance) to identify requirements and design aligned processes accordingly.
- oIdentify potential issues and alternative solutions, and elevate digitalization ideas by exploring, evaluating, and prioritizing digital opportunities based on user needs, business context, technical feasibility, and other characteristics. Lead the enhancement and optimization of procurement tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Ensure proper system governance in partnership with the IT department.

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- University Degree (Master)
- Extensive years of relevant practical experience in procurement, ideally with at least 3 years as procurement process excellence manager in a state-of-the-art procurement organization.
- Experience in FMCG or pharma industry.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification recommended.
- Fluent business English skills (oral and written); additional capabilities in German and/or Spanish language skills are beneficial.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, problem-solving attitude and critical thinking skills; agility, curiosity, and empathy leadership skills. Talent for clarity and simplification.
- Project management skills to lead digital transformation initiatives, technology integration, and process improvement projects.
- Ability to prioritize procurement initiatives that drive measurable business impacts.
- Strong skills in effectively managing internal and external stakeholders and in collaborating and/or leading cross-functional teams. Change management attitude.
- Understanding of procurement technology platforms, ERP systems, e-procurement software, and digital tools.
