What the job looks like
Every day you will enjoy different challenges such as:

  • As Business Process Owner (BPO) – Procurement, you will drive continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and ways of working across the organization. You will lead process excellence, digitalization, and system governance initiatives, working closely with Procurement, IT, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact.

  • Act as Business Process Owner for assigned procurement processes, ensuring end‑to‑end optimization, standardization, and consistent execution in line with defined guidelines.

  • Act as a change leader, embedding new ways of working across the organization.

  • Lead the enhancement and optimization of procurement tools (ERP, e‑procurement, digital platforms) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Ensure robust system governance in close partnership with IT.

  • Continuously monitor industry trends, best practices, and external developments to keep Procurement at a state‑of‑the‑art level.

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Master’s degree.
  • 5+ years experience in Procurement, ideally with additional 3+ years in Procurement Process Excellence
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of procurement technologies, ERP systems, e‑procurement platforms, and digital tools.
  • Proven project management skills to lead digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Change management mindset with a strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking approach.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent business English (oral and written), German/Spanish is a plus
