We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated R&D machine learning engineer to join our dynamic team. As an integral member of our company, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining machine learning related use cases and bringing them into the field.

• Contribute to the improvement of sophisticated assembly machines
• Maintain and implement innovative machine learning use cases for improving machine performance and workflows
• Gain and apply a comprehensive understanding of assembly processes (mechanics, electrics, software, vision algorithms)
• Work with state-of-the-art high-tech measurement equipment
• Participate in short international business trips
• Correspond with national and international partners and customers

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (relevant field)
• Good programming skills in Python
• Experience in machine learning projects
• Solid understanding of assembly processes (mechanics, electrics, pneumatics, optics,software/vision algorithms)
• Familiarity with high-tech measurement equipment and a hands-on mindset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a dynamic R&D environment
• Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills across departments and with stakeholders
• Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher) and willingness to learn German
