Senior Business Analyst

• Pay rate :760 - 850 CHF per day
• Duration :12-month contract
• Location: Hybrid in Adliswil Switzerland, and then progressing to hybrid in Mythenquai Switzerland (3 days in office)

Tasks and responsibilities :

• Drive the Finance IT business analysis towards the implementation of our Finance Target
• Architecture (Azure Databricks), enabling end-to-end Finance data flows, focusing on the integration of technical accounting systems and the analysis required
• Work closely with our business counterparts and stakeholders to capture complete and accurate business needs and help translate them into implementable work items in Azure DevOps
• Team up with software development teams within the Finance Data Foundation Product
• Area, and collaborate with other teams in Finance IT to drive the implementation (focus on Finance source system data flowing into the finance system)
• Analyze, manage, and document the as-is status of business/finance data and provide gap analysis to meet all finance system data requirements
• Specify source system data derivation rules with high quality, including proposing feasible and workable solutions
• Model data and integrate with the existing data landscape
• Provide test data and execute the testing process in close collaboration with the developers working on the implementation
• Coordinate and support UATs, including creation/enhancement of training documentation
• Monitor and keep the proposed solutions up to date under changing assumptions
• Support Go live and the establishment of the BAU process

non-negotiable skills :

• Senior BA with at least 8 years of experience working on complex projects, preferably in the financial or insurance industry. Experience in any finance department or financial system integration is a further advantage.
• High proficiency in English
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills

The team has 12 people, including the Product Owner, 4 Business analysts, and 7 engineers.
Most engineers, Bas, and the PO are based in Switzerland. There are daily interactions, mostly in
the office or on MS Teams. The office environment is very supportive and collaborative. We
