Your tasks

• Independent analysis of customer requirements, conceptualization and optimization of complex IT systems in the cloud environment
• Architecture of solution designs with modern technologies
• Evaluation of cloud architectures and presentation of results at management level
• Working with modern cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, STACKIT Cloud)
• Working with private cloud technologies and related services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Automation of CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and release cycles, e.g., with Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
• Building container solutions using Docker and Kubernetes
• Design and implementation of infrastructures using "Infrastructure as Code"
• Coaching team members regarding cloud architectures
• Support in ARES internal projects

Your profile

• Studies or training in the field of IT or comparable professional experience
• Several years of professional experience with at least one cloud service provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT, IONOS, Hetzner) or with private cloud infrastructures
• You feel comfortable in both on-premises/private and public cloud environments and are flexible in both worlds.
• You have relevant experience in the DevOps field.
• You have very good knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible and Infrastructure as Code.
• You are familiar with the design of cloud infrastructures in both the IaaS and PaaS environments.
• You are really keen to digitize processes and support customers in their cloud strategy.
• You are flexible in various client industries (e.g. public sector, automotive, pharmaceuticals, finance)
• You are independent, customer-oriented, have strong communication skills, enjoy working in a team, and have a professional demeanor.
• You are ambitious and have the will to quickly and flexibly familiarize yourself with new topics.
• You're eager to grow together with ARES!
• Ideally, you already have experience in consulting.
• You are willing to travel within Germany for important on-site customer meetings (on average max. 3 days/month)
• Your excellent German and English skills complete your profile.
